Cavernoma Alliance UK (CAUK) is hosting an in-person meet-up in Beverley to mark Brain Awareness Week, and local members are warmly invited to come along.
This is an informal, relaxed gathering run by CAUK volunteers — a chance to meet others, share experiences and find support in a friendly setting. Founded in 2005 by Ian Stuart following a brainstem cavernoma bleed, CAUK has spent nearly two decades supporting people and families affected by cavernoma.
Attendance is free, but spaces are limited and the event is open to CAUK members only. If you’re not yet a member, you can sign up for free at cavernoma.org.uk. Registration is via Eventbrite.
CAUK is entirely funded by public donations, so if you’re in a position to contribute, donations are gratefully received at cavernoma.org.uk/donate.
