SUMMARY:A WAC- We Are Creative Networking Event for Beverley
DESCRIPTION:We Are Creative (WAC) is bringing its networking series to Beverley with a free evening event featuring two fascinating creatives from East Yorkshire. \nFree entry — open to all creatives living or working in East Yorkshire or Hull \nThe evening will feature Hannah Willetts and Gordon Meredith\, who will talk about their work and share honest reflections on the opportunities\, rewards and challenges of building a life in the creative arts. There’ll also be time for questions and conversation\, so bring your ideas\, projects and plans. \nHannah Willetts is Curator of Beverley Art Gallery\, where she oversees the exhibition programme and fine art collection. In 2024 she led the gallery’s first full collection redisplay in over a decade\, with a focus on reinterpreting the stories of women in its history. Her background spans The Hepworth Wakefield\, Glasgow Museums\, Sotheby’s and Lyon & Turnbull\, with expertise in modernism\, collections management and access. \nGordon Meredith trained in exhibition\, theatre and museum design at Hull College of Art and Design before spending 25 years working across the UK and Europe\, winning awards in gallery design and cultural landscape interpretation. A move into acting in 2010 opened a new chapter\, and he now combines his passions for history and performance as a playwright and scriptwriter\, working with museums\, historic houses and churches to bring real stories to life through theatre\, film and living history. \nWAC We Are Creative is supported by Hey Creative and the East Riding of Yorkshire. \nSpeakers\n \nJohn Doeer\nFounder Envato \n \nJohn Doeer\nFounder Envato \n \nJoanna Smith\nVP Design Apple \n \nJoanna Smith\nVP Design Apple \n \nLuis Gallop\nHead Engineering Dell \nFAQ\nAre tickets refundable or transferable? \nTickets are non-refundable but may be transferable.
